Country-Chic Pretty in Pink

Pink: Some of you may know…it’s my all-time favorite color!   I even still wear my light pink show shirts with my navy jackets in the horse show ring.  And yes, I still use pink saddle pads on my dark bay Dutch Warmblood gelding “Walter” riding back at the barn.  I’m a girlie-girl, and that will just never go away… Speaking of that, my younger sister Amy and I decided to play dress up on the farm in Ocala this past weekend. We had a blast dressing in our favorite pink tulled dresses and boots to make this a feminine and country-chic inspired photo shoot.

What I wore: a Dress from H&M I picked out over summer… paired with my two-toned riding boots

Jewelry: Vandermoore Horsebit Gold Diamond Necklace and matching earrings, horse bangle

What Amy Wore: Vintage southern belle tulled dress with embroidered cowgirl boots “Lucky” by Old Gringo .. there are 3 embroidered horseshoes on these boots.  LOVE them!

Pair these boots with some pink tulle… and Done!  It’s romantic and girlie and makes for the ultimate country-chic photo shoot.

Above, you can see the gold diamond horse bit jewelry … this equestrian jewelry set is simply stunning.  This makes a beautiful gift for any special lady.

However, as much as we think we want to, my sister Amy and I will never grow up at heart… We trotted around with “Pepper” the miniature horse on the farm this past weekend and had a blast pretending we were pink princesses in fairytale land…

Holidays are here…Are you looking for a gift idea for your little girl?  How about some customized lucky pink ribbons for the short stirrup ring?  A good friend of mine Stacie Yellin just started creating the cutest customized hand made hair bows for the pony ring or for playing dress-up.  I actually ended up sharing mine with my mini horse “Pepper”… take a peek:

And last but not least… the bows up close:

From Little Girls To Big Girls… these bows are too cute to pass up!

These hair bows aren’t just for the short stirrup rider… even girls who don’t ride would wear these as a pair or one around a pony tail.  Everyone loves a game of dress-up (Especially around the Holidays!)  For more info on the bows, please visit: Belle and Bow Equestrian
