Horses must get ready for horse shows too, just like riders.  Horses should be extremely well groomed and polished.  Braided manes and tails are usually required for major horse shows.  A horse cooler is  a great accessory and piece of clothing for the horse to wear to keep clean ringside.  Keeping a clean bit and clean tack is critical before entering the show ring.

Schooling day is preparation day.  The horse can wear a square schooling pad like the one pictured here.  The look of this picture of morning fog and the english saddle brings back memories of waking up early for  horse show days and schooling in the mornings.  Are you horse showing this weekend?  What do you like about getting ready for the horse show?
